Gilbert Boys takes us through Acts 1:12-26, and the evening includes some question and answer and discussion.  Highlights - what DID the disciples talk about in the Upper Room, and what is the difference between Jesus breathing the Holy Spirit and Pentecost in Acts 2?  

The first scam in the bible is in Genesis 3 v 1-3. John France speaks on this and how our foundation is built on Jesus and how to have good boundaries in your spiritual life.

The second in the Autumn series 'How can I live the real Christian life?'  Ben explores how salvation is a gift, and the nature of a gift, using Galatians and finally 1 Cor 1:30 to suggest salvation is actually more than we have understood it to be. 

Open meeting on sunday 28th September lead by Martin French.

The first part is some communion readings and prayers (why not take communion yourself while listeneing) and the second part from approx 9 mins is open ministry by various members of the church.

Taking us on a whistle-stop tour of God's dealings with us, Martin Lodge encourages us to remember the life flow available through Jesus who has saved (sozo'd) us. He starts with the river from the throne of God in Ezekiel - find out where God's plan leads!

Ben Leney's autumn series How Can I Live The Real Christian Life? starts with Stretch Out Your Hand.  He looks at 1 Kings 13:1-10 and Mark 3:1-5 and tackles the question how do we come to Him in the way He has shown?  

This is the first of a planned series Church on the Move - Ben Leney this time -  going through the book of Acts.  It includes an introduction to Acts, and Acts 1:1-11 with some discussion.  On our website you will shortly find a related handout and also a powerpoint which includes the maps referred to in Ben's breathless summary of the book. 

Hannah and Chris Scutt bring an update from Blantyre, Malawi, and then Chris shares about the Belief Tree (a YWAM teaching) and looks at John 15:1-16. An encouraging and stirring word. Go to our website to see the powerpoint with photos and also visuals for the Belief Tree.
