Guest speaker Trevor Galpin, who had been over for the weekend speaks on The Big Picture, Finding the Father in the Bible. Starting in Luke 15 v1-2 and 11-32.  Did you think the parable was about the younger son?  Think again!

Toby looks at Acts 8:14-25, completing the account of Simon the Sorcerer.  He gives a 'Toby' perspective on Peter and John's trip from Jerusalem and considers what our heart attitude towards God might be.  A lively discussion follows.

The Gospel in Samaria. Acts 8:1-13. Hilary looks at Saul, Philip and Simon the Sorcerer in this clear and inspiring reminder of how effective God's people can be when following the Holy Spirit. Some discussion included.

Rev Ben Leney talks from Acts 7 v 44-60. We reach the climax (peroratio!) of Stephen's speech, his vision of Jesus, and his death.  His speech focuses on the Temple and God's glory. His life is an exemplary witness to the Jewish leaders but they respond with rage. Some discussion included!
